
KARIMNAGAR, JULY 01, 2025: Students of Bhagavathi and Arvintree High schools in various parts of Karimnagar town observed National Doctor’s Day on Tuesday to mark the birth and death anniversary of legendary physician and second Chief Minister of West Bengal State, Dr BC Roy on Tuesday.
Incidentally, this is the first ever programme in the schools after summer vacation. Doctor’s Day is celebrated across India to honour the legendary physician and the second CM of West Bengal Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy. This observance fulfills a need to show the doctors and physicians in our lives how important they are to us.

On this occasion, the students donned the role of doctors by wearing the aprons and explaining about the importance of the role of a doctor to serve the people as a demi-god. Institutions’ chairman B Ramana Rao welcomed the children with a Doctor’s Day speech in the morning assembly.
He also enlightened students about the idea behind the Doctor’s logo and the importance of a doctor in our lives. He told the children about the importance of first aid and the necessary items required in the kit. On this occasion, Mr Ramana Rao paid tributes to senior doctors of Karimnagar Dr V Bhoom Reddy and Ch Ravinder Rao who passed away recently.
