
TIRUMALA, SEPTEMBER 18, 2026: Hindu Dharmartha Samiti brought nine umbrellas from Chennai to Tirumala on Friday to utilise them during Garuda Seva on Saturday as part of the ongoing Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams.
The Samiti Trustee, Sri R.R. Gopalji, has handed over the umbrellas to the TTD officials.
This is the 22nd time that the Chennai-based Hindu Dharmartha Samiti has presented umbrellas to Srivaru.
TTD EO Sri Muddada Ravi Chandra, Additional EO Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary and other officials participated in this programme.

Devotees to be allowed into Swamy Pushkarni from 3 am onwards on Garuda Seva on September 19
As part of the ongoing Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams, devotees will be permitted entry into the Swamy Pushkarini from 3 AM onwards following Garuda Seva on September 19.
Under normal circumstances, devotees are permitted to bathe in the Pushkarini daily from 6 AM onwards.
However, in view of the heavy influx of devotees expected on Garuda Seva day, TTD has decided to open the Pushkarini from 3 AM onwards.
