KARIMNAGAR, JULY 1-0, 2025: Karimnagar District Fire Officer Srinivas Reddy visited the ZPHS Chakunta on the outskirts of Karimnagar and felicitated the headmaster and teachers for their efforts in bringing back glory to the school by increasing the enrolment.
As part of the Guru Pournami celebrations, the DFO visited the school on Thursday and felicitated the teaching faculty members by presenting them with shawls. He also served nutritious food as part of the midday meal by providing the students with sweets and fruits.
Recollecting that his father was also a teacher, the DFO said that he was inspired by the crusade launched by ZPHS principal Kalikota Tirumal for increasing admissions into the school by motivating the parents and others in the region. He also said that he was thrilled to serve the food to the students with his own hands.
DIET college lecturer Shankar, who had retired on June 31, 2025, was also felicitated by the DFO on the occasion. Similarly, ZPHS Chakunta Physics teacher Kankanala Ram Reddy has donated examination question bank books to the tenth-class students.
