HANAMKONDA, OCTOBER 06, 2026: District Collector Chahat Bajpai inspected the ongoing development works at K-Hub, Kakatiya University, being taken up by TGEWIDC with RUSA 2.0 funds on Tuesday. She reviewed the progress of the works and issued directions to expedite their completion, informed KU Registrar Prof. V. Ramachandram.
The Registrar stated that K-Hub is facilitating innovation, incubation and entrepreneurship development programmes for students and aspiring entrepreneurs. As part of the MoU between KU K-Hub and T-Hub, Hyderabad, mentoring and support are being provided to promote innovation and startup initiatives.
He said K-Hub is being developed as a major innovation and startup hub in North Telangana, with a focus on encouraging the establishment of startups and nurturing young entrepreneurs. He further stated that Kakatiya University will soon host one of the largest hackathons in the country, with K-Hub serving as a key platform for the event.
The Collector was accompanied by RUSA Nodal Officer Prof. R. Mallikarjun Reddy, K-Hub Director Prof. T. Savitha Jyotsna, Development Officer Prof. Y. Venkayya and other officials.
