
HYDERABAD, JULY 18, 2026: Officials of the Drugs Control Administration, Telangana, raided a premises at Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad, where medicines were being illegally stocked and sold without a valid drug licence, and seized the drug stocks.
Acting on credible information, the DCA officials raided a premises located at Chandrayanguutta in Hyderabad on Friday. During the raid, it was found that Aslam Bin Salam Bajaber was illegally stocking and selling medicines at the said premises without a valid drug licence.
A total of 11 varieties of medicines, including antibiotics and other drugs, were found stocked for sale at the premises. The stock, worth Rs. 18,000/-, was seized by the officers during the raid. B. Dinesh Kumar, Assistant Director, Hyderabad; B. Lakshmi, Drugs Inspector, Charminar; and Ch. Swapna, Drugs Inspector, Jubilee Hills, conducted the raid.
DCA officers lifted the samples for analysis. Further investigation shall be carried out, and action shall be taken as per the law against all the offenders.
