KARIMNAGAR, MAY 09, 2024: A team of Child Welfare Committee (CWC) led by its chairperson Dhanalaxmi along with jail authorities and others visited the Karimnagar District Jail in Karimnagar town on Thursday.
They inspected the female ward, barracks and other facilities being provided to women prisoners. They also inquired about the free legal aid clinic, crèche for children of prisoners, library, vocational training centre, meditation-cum-yoga centre and e-prison call system situated in the female ward.
District jail officials Ramesh, CWC members Rendla Kalinga Shekhar, Vijay, Radha, Archana Reddy and others were also present.
