HYDERABAD, APRIL 25, 2025: The first International conference on “Recent Trends in Embedded, Computing, Control and Automation” under the auspices of the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering was conducted at CVR Engineering College at Mangalapalli, Ibrahimpatnam mandal on April 23 and 24.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Dr Anesh Kumar Sharma, OS & Director (Technical), ECIL as the chief guest, Dr. Bozenna Pasik Duncan, Professor of Mathematicsm University of Kansas, IEEE Fellow was the guest of honour, Suman Sanam, Director Product & AI Powered Security Practice was the keynote speaker, along with College Chairman Dr. Raghava V. Cherabuddi, Director Dr. K. Rama Shastri, Principal Dr. K. Rammohan Reddy, Dean Research Dr. K Lal Kishore, Conference Chair, ICRTECCA – 2025 Dr. S Harivardhagini, Conveners Dr. B. Narendra, Dr. D. Shyam Prasad and others attended and addressed the students.
The chief guests said that such good conferences play a key role in shaping our technological future, developing at an unprecedented pace, and helping to produce experts, researchers, practitioners and industry leaders.
The conference has received a massive response in terms of scientific contributions from participants worldwide. High-quality papers were chosen for presentation and publication following a thorough peer-review procedure. These articles cover a variety of issues, including embedded system design, machine learning applications in control systems, robotics, industrial automation, sensor networks, real-time systems, and others.
The submissions include 10 international papers, with contributions from Switzerland, the USA, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, and Singapore. Additionally, there are 183 national papers from various states across India, including Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Odisha, Puducherry, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and New Delhi.
The conference focused on Biomedical Engineering and Healthcare Technologies, Computing & Intelligent Technologies, Embedded Systems & Applications, Power, Energy, and Power Electronics, Robotics, Control, Instrumentation and Automation, Signal, Image Processing & VLSI to present innovative ideas and high-quality research. The conference was structured into 7 technical sessions, out of which 3 sessions were conducted offline, while 4 sessions were held online, ensuring broad participation from researchers worldwide. These sessions are scheduled across both days of the event.
The college management congratulated the EIE (Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering) Department, faculty, students and staff for successfully organising such a great conference, which has completed 20 years and is moving forward with NBA accreditation.
