
HYDERABAD, JUNE 29, 2025: The Hyderabad-based MNR University and Cumberland University of the USA have joined hands with the aim of providing world-class education to students. Dr. Mark Hanshaw, Associate Provost of Cumberland University, visited the sprawling MNR University campus and interacted with the leadership team.
The discussions marked a significant step towards strengthening international academic relations rooted in excellence, innovation, and global impact. The conversation centred on broadening institutional horizons through global student and faculty engagement, interdisciplinary academic initiatives, innovation-driven research ecosystems, and capacity building for next-generation education, according to a press release issued on Saturday.

“With a shared vision for shaping globally competent scholars and creating impactful learning environments, MNR University and Cumberland University have taken a key step toward redefining international academic synergies for a dynamic, interconnected future,” said the MNRU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Krishna Chalam.
Mr Kiran, Dean, School of Engineering & Technology (SOET), Mr. Venkataramana K, Dean, School of Medical & Health Sciences (SMHS), and Mr. Harish Kumar P, Dean, School of Physiotherapy (SOPR) also shared their ideas with the visiting guest. Mr Jaswanth N and Mr P.C. Srinivasa Rao, Associate Professors, SOET, who contributed to the enriching academic exchange, were also present.
