
HYDERABAD, JUNE 13, 2025: Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao held a teleconference with the district collectors and reviewed the arrangements to be made for the Rythu Nestham programme, which will be held at the Agricultural University on June 16.
He informed the collectors that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will interact with the farmers, which will be telecast across all the Rythu Nestham centres. He asked the collectors to organise the programme in a befitting manner by inviting public representatives, duly ensuring that at least 250 farmers from the area attend the programme.

He noted that this programme will help connect farmers with agriculture experts through video conferences. The video conferencing facility, which was available in 500 centres, has been scaled up and will be available in 1000 centres additionally from the 16th. Through this facility, experts will give suggestions to farmers on the crops to cultivate and advanced farming techniques from time to time, the CS added.
Secretary of Agriculture Raghunandan Rao asked the collectors to depute mandal-level officer at all the RythuNestham centres along with the concerned Agriculture Extension Officer of the cluster. The entire programme should be held in a festive atmosphere.
Earlier in the day, the Chief Secretary held a teleconference with DGP and other senior officials and took stock of the arrangements made for the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards function, which is to be held on the 14th at the Hitex, Hyderabad.
During the teleconference, Special Commissioner I&PR Dr Harish briefed that all arrangements have been made for conducting the programme on a grand scale. He informed that all the departments are working in close coordination to ensure that the programme is conducted in a smooth manner. DGP Jitender said that the event is a film-based programme, and all steps have been taken with regard to parking and other bandobust arrangements.
