Collector launches the programme by sticking the stickers
KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 06, 2024: Collector Pamela Satpathy has formally launched Telangana’s comprehensive door-to-door caste survey in Karimnagar district on Wednesday.
Accordingly, the Collector launched the sticking stickers at every household in the sixth ward of Mahatmanagar grama panchayat in Thimmapur mandal, the 13th ward in Regonda grama panchayat in Chigirumamidi mandal and the 10th ward in Chigurumamidi mandal headquarters along with Additional Collector Praful Desai, Assistant Collector Ajay Yadav.
It may be recalled that the survey is aimed to assess the social, economic, political, caste and educational status of all households across the State. It is being conducted by the State Planning Department. The enumerators would be sticking stickers from November 6 to 8 to every house and later they would collect the details in the questionnaire format and upload it online.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that the information collected under the comprehensive caste survey would be secret and would not be disclosed to anyone. Hence, she appealed to actively participate in the survey and support the enumerators and disclose all the details of the family.
Stating that they had imparted training to the enumerators and supervisors for the comprehensive caste survey, she informed the people to keep their Aadhar card, ration card, Dharani pattadar passbook and other details ready to disclose the same with the enumerators. She also directed the enumerators to ensure that they fill in the correct details and if they have any doubts they could consult their supervisors or other authorities concerned. Thimmapur MPDO T Vijay Kumar, Tahsilar K Vijay Kumar, secretary Srivani, Chigurumamidi MPDO Madhusudhan, RI Santosh, secretaries Ajay Kumar, Ramesh and others were also present.
