KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 28, 2024: Collector Pamela Satpathy made a surprise inspection of the Mother and Child Health Centre in Karimnagar town on Saturday.
On this occasion, the Collector visited the Arogyasri, Gynecology wards, ANC-2, scanning rooms, laboratories, labour room, ICU, operation theatre, maternity ward, incubator room etc and inspected the records.
Interacting with the pregnant woman, she inquired about the treatment being provided at the hospital. Directing the officials to enrol the details of all the people visiting the hospital, she inquired about the scanning and laboratory test details of the hospital.
Informing the authorities to admit even high-risk pregnancies at the hospital, she said that the medical authorities should ensure that they provide all medical assistance for the safe delivery of the mother and the health of the infant.
She also informed the authorities to take all the repairs of the hospital including the proper functioning of air-conditioners and availability of other medical facilities. Incharge RMO Dr Naveemn, DCHS Dr Chandrashekhar, Pulmonologist Dr Narender, Dr Jyothi, Dr Suhasini, Nursing Superintendent Saritha and others were also present.
