HYDERABAD, SEPTEMBER 07, 2024: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy offered a special puja at the giant Khairatabad Ganesh idol on Vinayaka Chaturthi on Saturday.
The Ganesh Utsav Committee organised the Ganesh Navratri festival at Khairatabad on an impressive scale in the country every year. It is commendable that the Committee has been organising the Ganesh festival with dedication, pomp and gaiety for the last 70 years.
The state government considered the conduct of Ganesh festival celebrations prestigious by addressing the challenges which are being faced by the Utsav Committee every year.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that a total of 1.40 lakh Ganesh idols are installed and worshipped during the festivities in Hyderabad City. The government is supplying free power to all Ganesh Pandals.

Congratulating the Khairatabad Ganesh Utsav Committee for holding the festival on a grand scale every year, he said that it is praiseworthy to note that popular leader P Janardhan Reddy has started the grand celebrations of Khairatabad Ganesh festival.
“I sought the blessings of Lord Ganesh at Khairabad soon after assuming TPCC President Post and now as Chief Minister of Telangana state”, he stated and added that “I will visit every year and seek the God’s blessings on the invitation from Utsav Committee”.
