HYDERABAD, MAY 19, 2025: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has launched the flagship scheme of ‘ Indira Soura Giri Jala Vikasam ‘ at Macharam village of Amrabad mandal in Nagar Kurnool district today (Monday).
Addressing a public meeting in Macharam, the CM said, “As a son of Nallamala, I am very much delighted and overwhelmed by addressing a public meeting from this place. Made the promise of developing the Achampet Assembly constituency as a role model for the country. The People’s government fulfilled the promise by envisaging special development of the constituency and gave specific instructions to implement the plans”.

The previous government incarcerated people who fought for the ownership rights of the Podu lands. My government has the credit of promoting agriculture by installing solar pump sets in the podu lands. Will provide solar pump sets to all farmers in the Atchampet constituency and instruct the officials to complete the process in 100 days.
The government’s aim is to make the Atchampet constituency a role model for the country and I am taking the responsibility of providing the necessary funds for this. The government has spent Rs 60,000 crore for the welfare of farmers till date. Apart from the Minimum Support Price, Rs 500 bonus is being given to the farmers who cultivate fine variety Paddy. Earlier, Paddy cultivation was burdensome to the farmers, and now it has become a profitable occupation.
Enhanced the self-esteem of the poor by supplying fine rice to them. Distributing fine rice to 3.10 crore people through fair price shops in the state.
Supplying 200 units of free power to 50 lakh poor families and also free RTC bus travel to women. The women community are being encouraged as the owners of RTC buses. Awarded works to generate 1000 MW of solar power for the women’s self-help groups. Promoting women as prospective entrepreneurs and competing with Adani and Ambani in solar power generation. The government is moving forward by envisaging plans for the economic empowerment of women.
Prepared plans to promote the youngest state of Telangana as the richest state in the country. Recruited more than 60,000 job aspirants in the government in just one year and which was a big record that had never happened in the country.
The union government declared Telangana as the number one state for taking measures to control the prices of essential commodities and supply them to the poor. Telangana also stood top in the maintenance of law and order. The opposition raised doubts on the competence of the Palamuru leaders in ruling the state government, and we proved them wrong by making Telangana as number one state in all sectors.
Unlike other prime ministers, Former PM Indira Gandhi remained in the hearts of the poor and tribal community. Apart from giving land ownership rights, the Chief Minister, accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, said this was a unique scheme aimed at empowering the tribal farmers. He urged Mr. Vikramarka to appoint a special officer to oversee the smooth functioning of the scheme.
