LS Corp team to visit Hyderabad very soon
CM pitches of Mega Textile park in Warangal
HYDERABAD, AUGUST 12, 2024: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and his team including Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu launched the Korea tour by visiting Seol and holding consultations with the industrialists and other investors.
They started day with wide ranging conversations with one of Korea’s biggest industrial conglomerates – the LS Corp, which was formerly a part of the LG group. They met with Chairman of LS Group, Mr Koo Ja Eun, and his senior leadership.
The talks covered broad interests, including manufacturing investments in Telangana for electric cables, gas and energy, and batteries. “The LS team will visit our state shortly on my invite. I am very positive we will formally welcome them to Telangana as an investor in coming days”, the CM stated.
The CM pitched for the Mega Textile Park in Warangal as an ideal destination for further investments from Korean textiles companies at a business roundtable organised by KOFOTI (Korea Federation of Textile Industry). The gathering, including Mr Kihak Sung, Chairman, Youngone, Mr Soyoung Joo, Executive Vice-Chairman, KOFOTI, and other top leaders of 25 major textile companies, responded with amazing enthusiasm.
Expect to attract more investments for Warangal, and rest of Telangana in the Textile sector. My colleague D. Sridhar Babu and officials will put together a task force to follow up on all the opportunities for quick closures and action on the ground, Mr Reddy said.
