Cleanliness drive by NSS volunteers of TSWRDC for women Sircilla

RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, SEPTEMBER 26, 2024: National Service Scheme Volunteers of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Sircilla, located at Shatrajpally in Vemulawada town, participated in the cleanliness drive on the college premises on Thursday as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva programme.

As part of the programme, the volunteers removed shrubs and weeds on the campus and the surrounding vicinity. Principal PSR Sharma told the students that the cleanliness is most important for physical well-being and a healthy environment. “It is essential for everyone to learn about cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation and various diseases that are caused due to poor hygienic conditions. Cleanliness ensures a healthy mind and physique”, he stated.  Vice principal K Lavanya, NSS programme officer V Swapna, Advisory council member G Swapna and others were also present.
