HYDERABAD, AUGUST 12, 2026: The Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), Regional Centre, Hyderabad, under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, organised a vibrant Har Ghar Tiranga Rally to promote the spirit of patriotism, national unity and Jan Bhagidari among school children and the wider community.
Around 750 school children, their escort teachers, CCRT officials and staff, and 78 CCRT-trained teachers from 13 different states, took part in the programme. The school participation included students from 7 schools in Hyderabad.
The programme commenced with the arrival of school children at the CCRT campus, followed by their assembly at the Open-Air Amphitheatre. The participants joined in the collective rendition of Vande Mataram full song, with bilingual Telugu-English printouts provided to the children)
The highlight of the programme was the one-kilometre Tiranga Rally through the Hi-Tech City area, in which children marched in an organised formation carrying the Tricolour and raising patriotic slogans. The rally, led by CCRT Officials Consultant Shri Y Chandrasekhar and Field Officer Ms. Soundarya Kaushik, sought to take the message of patriotism beyond the CCRT campus and actively engage the public in the spirit of Jan Bhagidari.
On return to the CCRT campus, the students participated in a Tiranga Concert by Dr. Linga Srinivas and troupe featuring folk artists. The artists presented Telangana folk music and local cultural traditions along with patriotic songs and themes highlighting India’s Independence, Vande Mataram, the spirit of patriotism, Telangana’s rich cultural heritage and the significance of Har Ghar Tiranga. The programme was specially designed to make the celebration engaging and meaningful for school children. Programme officially concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
The Har Ghar Tiranga programme reaffirmed CCRT’s commitment to nurturing patriotism, cultural awareness, national integration and active public participation among the younger generation.
