JAGTIAL, AUGUST 12, 2026: The Women Empowerment Cell of Government Degree College for Women (Autonomous), Jagtial organised an “Orientation Session on Career Readiness Programme” in collaboration with ‘Launch Girls’ for first-year degree students on Wednesday.
In-charge Principal Prof.T.Pramod Kumar inaugurated the programme and stressed the importance of career planning and skill development from the first year itself. He appreciated ‘Launch Girls’ for supporting students in achieving self-confidence and financial independence.
Vice Principal Chandraiah enlightened students about Skill Bridge, Workplace Readiness, Cultivating communication, leadership, and Career Pathways: Connecting graduates with internships and industry opportunities to launch successful careers.
WEC Coordinator N. Vasavi welcomed the gathering and coordinated the session. The resource person from Launch Girls guided students on career opportunities, required skills, and pathways for higher education and employment. In this programme, Prof Varaprasad and Staff Secretary N Sangeetha Rani motivated the students. Students participated actively and benefited from the guidance.
