KARIMNAGAR, JULY 11, 2024: Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (JITS) autonomous college on the outskirts of Karimnagar town organised an online session on ‘Career Guidance’ for the B Tech third year students of all branches on Thursday.
Dr Jagandeep Singh Sindhu, Senior Product Engineer, Code Tantra Tech Solutions Pvt Limited, Mohali, Chandigarh, was the resource person. Principal Dr KS Rao inaugurated the session by welcoming the guest. The programme was aimed to upskill the students to make them job ready for global and domestic markets and prepare them for the most in demand technology skills.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Singh discussed in detail about the importance of communication skills, technical skills, critical thinking, complex problem solving, opportunities in different domains such as private and public sector etc. He made power-point presentation and highlighted how to clear obstacles in cracking a job. It was followed by a question-answer round with the students. Buoyed over the session, the students said such sessions would prove beneficial for them and serve as a guiding light for the future. JITS chairman J Sagar Rao, Secretary J Sumith Sai, CSE HoD Dr R Jegadeesan and CSE Assistant Professor G Pranavi were the coordinators.
