KARIMNAGAR, JULY 16, 2025: The vibrant festival of Bonalu was celebrated with devotion and grandeur at Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Nagunuru, Karimnagar, on Wednesday. The event witnessed active participation from students, faculty, and staff, who gathered to offer prayers, seeking the blessings of Goddess Mahankali for health and prosperity.
Women students, dressed in traditional attire, carried decorated Bonam pots on their heads and offered them at the temple amid rhythmic drum beats and folk songs. The programme concluded with the distribution of prasadam among students and staff. Principal T. Malathi, Vice Principal S Padmaja nd other faculty members were also present.
