KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 27, 2026: Close on the heels of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to lead the BJP’s counter-offensive against the Opposition’s ‘Vote Chori’ campaign in Hyderabad on November 2, the BJP Karimnagar district unit has decided to organise a similar grand rally in Karimnagar town on November 5 with the slogan of ‘Let us Protect Democracy and End Anarchy’.
Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar, National BJP leaders, BJP state president K Ramchander Rao and other leaders would participate in the rally in Karimnagar town on November 5.
The Union Minister made this announcement at the BJP Karimnagar parliamentary constituency leaders meeting in Karimnagar town on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sanjay Kumar alleged that the Congress and Opposition alliance leaders were spreading false propaganda against the SIR by claiming that more than 13 crore votes have been deleted across the country.
Flaying the Congress party for misleading the people, the Union Minister said that out of 13 crore votes, around 2.8 crore votes belonged to people who had died. Nearly 3 crore people could not be found at their registered addresses during field verification. Around 6.3 crore people had permanently moved to other places, and another one crore voters had registered their names in two or three different places.
He asked what is wrong with removing the names of Rohingya migrants, who had allegedly entered the country illegally and registered as voters? He charged that the Congress and BRS have been winning elections in Hyderabad with the support of Rohingya voters.
In the Maheshwaram assembly constituency, more than 40,000 Rohingyas were allegedly registered as voters and helped the BRS candidate win the elections. In the Old City, the MIM has been winning elections with the support of Rohingya votes, duplicate votes and votes registered in the names of deceased people, he charged.
He informed the party leaders to organise meetings at every polling booth across the Karimnagar Parliamentary Constituency and make arrangements to ensure that people attend the grand rally. Provide them with the necessary transport and accommodation facilities. Let us organise this grand rally in an unprecedented and innovative manner and make it a major topic of discussion across the country, he added.
BJP state general secretary Vemula Ashok, state legal cell leader Antony Reddy, Karimnagar BJP president Sayini Mallesh, Sircilla president Reddaboina Gopi, Mayor Kolagani Srinivas, Deputy Mayor Y Sunil Rao, senior BJP leaders Komala Anjaneyulu, Nallala Odelu, Chennamaneni Vikas Rao, Mohan Reddy, Gangadi Krishna Reddy, Boinpalli Praveen Rao and others participated in the meeting.
