

HYDERABAD, APRIL 26, 2025: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has handed over appointment letters to the candidates selected under the 15th edition of Rozgar Mela on Saturday.


The Rozgar Mela was organised at 47 locations across the country. This tranche of Rozgar Mela was organised by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) as the National level Nodal Coordinator. Rozgar Mela at Hyderabad location was held at Dasarathi Auditorium, Dr. MCRHRD Institute of Telangana, Jubilee Hills, by Central GST and Customs Zone as a Nodal coordinator.
Mr Sandeep Prakash, Principal Chief Commissioner of CGST & Customs, Hyderabad Zone, welcomed the candidates and other Dignitaries from various departments and addressed the gathering. V Sangeeta, Principal Commissioner of Hyderabad CGST, was present on this occasion.
Two minutes of silence were observed as a mark of respect to the victims of the heinous Terrorist Attack at Pahalgam. Appointments Orders to 700 Candidates were issued. Out of the above, around 100 candidates received Appointments Orders personally. These candidates are from various departments, viz.. CBIC, Department of Financial Services, CRPF, Central Water Commission, Dept of Posts, EPF, ESI, NIN, National Remote Sensing Centre, National Statistics Office, Railway and Sardar Vallabhbhai National Police Academy.
Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar exhorted the successful candidates, who received appointment orders, to dedicate themselves to the service of the nation and motivated them to strive for excellence in their respective fields. The Nodal officers of various departments, including CBIC, EPF, Indian Railways, NIN, CRPF, ESIC etc, were also present on this occasion.
It may be mentioned here that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has formally launched the 15th edition of Rozgar mela in New Delhi. On this occasion, he said that as part of the Rozgar mela, they had distributed appointment letters to 51,000 candidates in various central government departments.
