KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 21, 2024: Association of Alliance Club District 137A celebrated the International Day of Yoga with the students of Achievers Active High School, Kothirampur in Karimnagar town on Friday.
School Director Ch Venkateshwarlu Principal Ch Pallavi, Association of Alliance Clubs International Director Dr Elagandula Srinivas, Kola Anna Reddy and Pullala Shyam jointly started the programme by lighting the lamp. The welcome dance performed by the students on this occasion was very impressive. Later, the students performed various yoga asanas and explained how they are performed and how asanas are useful to stay healthy and fit mentally and physically.
On this occasion, School Director Ch Venkateshwarlu said that yoga should be a part of our daily routine and informed that many complex health problems can be overcome through yoga. The students displayed placards educating the importance of yoga and meditation.
