KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 05, 2025: Achievers Active High School, Kothi Rampur, Karimnagar town, organised a road safety awareness programme for students to educate them about safe practices on the road under the banner of ‘Arrive Alive’, on Monday.
Under the auspices of the Traffic Police, as per the directions of the State Government and the Police Department on the occasion of 37th road safety awareness week celebrations. The programme was conducted under the supervision of Traffic CI Ramesh and SI Pramod Reddy. On this occasion, Traffic CI Ramesh explained about road safety and traffic rules, stating that the programme was being conducted as per the orders of the state government and higher authorities. He also explained the precautions to be taken while driving vehicles.
The Traffic CI highlighted the alarming rise in road accidents caused by speeding, negligence and lack of awareness. He appealed to students to strictly follow traffic rules and to act as ambassadors of road safety within their families and society. He explained the correct use of seat belts, helmets, pedestrian safety rules, safe driving signals and the importance of being alert on the road.
Traffic SI Pramod Reddy spoke about the dangers of minors driving vehicles and the consequences thereof. The programme was made successful with the participation of the school director, Ch Venkateshwarlu, Principal Ch Pallavi and faculty members and students.
