
KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 04, 2025: The Advanced Psychological Association Services of India (APAI), Karimnagar chapter, has launched a campaign to educate people to ‘say no to drugs and yes to life’.
APAI state vice president and Prakruthi Rehabilitation De-Addiction Centre counselling psychologist Nageshwar Galipalli, along with others, released posters about the campaign against drugs at the centre’s office in Karimnagar town on Wednesday. The district psychologists vowed to strive to make Karimnagar a drug-free and ganja-free district.

Expressing concern over the growing drug abuse, including the consumption of ganja in the district, the APAI leaders stressed the need for a collective effort to tackle and eliminate this menace as early as possible. They emphasised the need for continuous awareness programmes to educate people about the dangers and harmful effects of drugs and ganja.
Assuring to conduct various programmes to educate people by conducting awareness campaigns and anti-drug drives in all educational institutions, they said that the initiative was aimed at spreading awareness and reducing drug abuse in the community. Qualified psychologists Anuradha, Lalitha, Sridevi, Jyothi, Sirisha, Aliveni, Anu, Srilakshmi, Srinivas, Satya Prakash, Musheer, Satish, Santosh, Ananda Chary and others were also present.
