KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 15, 2024: St George International School (CBSE), Karimnagar inaugurated three-day annual Sports meet with enthusiasm and fervour on Tuesday.
The event was marked by a vibrant display of athletic prowess, teamwork and dedication, highlighting the importance of sports in the holistic development of students. The event began with a spectacular dance performance and speeches by students highlighting the importance of Sports & Games.
School Chairman P Fatima Reddy, Principals Bhargav and Niranjan, and Vice Principal Prasad Reddy inaugurated the sports meet by lighting the torch. Mr Fatima Reddy emphasised the significance of physical fitness alongside academics, stating that the school provides opportunities for students to develop both. He announced that the three-day sports meet, scheduled for October 15-17, would feature: Athletics, Cricket, Kho-Kho, and Basketball, Volleyball, Handball, and Table Tennis.
Physical Education teachers Jagan, Rajitha, Satbeer Singh, Venkatesh, Kavitha, Sainath, Satvender Singh, and Aman Preeth Singh participated in the event.
