JAGTIAL, MARCH 07, 2024: Government Degree College, Korutla, in Jagtial district celebrated its annual day with much pomp and gaiety on the college premises on Wednesday evening.
The college sports and cultural wing had organised the celebrations under the leadership of incharge principal G Neeraja. Established in 1981, the GDC Korutla has glorious years of academic excellence, the incharge principal said and added that several students, who studied in the college have been settled at several top positions throughout the world.
On this occasion, the students presented colourful cultural programmes and captivated the audience with their scintillating performances on popularnumbers. The incharge principal felicitated the guest faculty in Telugu & alumna V Prathima for securing 3 posts (TGT, PGT & JL in Telugu) in recently released Gurukul exam results.
Cultural committee incharge M Rajashekhar, Games and Sports committee incharge S mallikarjun, Lecturers D Sukhaprada Devi, B.Nagaraj, Waseem Begum, Talath Fathima other teaching, non-teaching staff and students were present. The prizes were distributed to sports and cultural competition winners.
