KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 07, 2024: Ganesh Chathurthi was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety at Alphores educational institutions in Karimnagar town on Saturday. Students and staff paid obeisance to Lord Ganapati. They learnt about the significance of the festival. The school premises reverberated with the chants of ‘Ganapati Bappa Moriya” as an idol of Lord Ganesha was placed at the school premises with devotion and love.
An eco-friendly Ganesha idol made of clay was worshipped to emphasise the importance of a bio-friendly way of living. Alphores Educational Institutions chairman V Narender Reddy participated in the special pujas at all the Ganesh mandaps set up in various schools and colleges in Karimnagar and offered special prayers. He also extended greetings to all students, parents and staff on the occasion.
