KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 28, 2026: In order to educate the student community about the importance of biennial Medaram Samakka-Sarakka and other parallel jataras, the Alphores e-techno school, Kothapalli, Karimnagar, celebrated the Tribal festival with religious fervour and gaiety on Wednesday.
The school campus was colourfully decorated for the jatara and installed two make-shift Altars (gaddelu). Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy launched the celebrations by offering prayers to the tribal goddesses. The students carried jaggery (bangaram), a traditional offering to the deities, along with coconuts.

On this occasion, Mr Narender Reddy enlightened the students about the importance of Medaram Samakka-Sarakka jatara, which is being celebrated as the tribal deities have fought against the Kakatiya dynasty over the issue of the collection of taxes.
