KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 01, 2024: Students of Alphores Girls e-techno school, Vavilalapalli, Karimnagar town, launched a special campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of dengue fevers.
As part of the campaign, the students along with Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy formally released posters to educate people of the town to ‘adopt cleanliness – Avoid diseases’ began on Thursday and aims to protect the city from disease outbreaks during the monsoon.
Under the guidance of Science teachers of the school, the students donning as doctors by wearing aprons and stethoscopes released the posters titled “Fight the Bite, Beat the Dengue Fever’. The students made a PowerPoint presentation to check the spread of dengue diseases.
The primary goal is to safeguard the city from the surge of diseases caused by stagnant water, the students appealed to the residents of the town to remove the stagnated water and check the breeding of mosquitoes which may lead to dengue, malaria and chikungunya. They also urged the residents to keep the surroundings clean and tidy to avoid the breeding of mosquitoes and stay healthy and happy.
The students received widespread appreciation for their novel campaign to educate the people to check the spread of dengue fevers by following the concept that prevention is better than cure.
