
KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 21, 2025: Achievers Active High School, Kothi Rampur, Karimnagar town, celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day with a vibrant and engaging event promoting the physical and mental well-being through yoga on their school campus on Saturday.
The celebrations began with the lighting of the lamp by School Director Ch Venkateshwarlu and Principal Ch Pallavi. On this occasion, Mr Venkateshwarlu said the celebration brought together students, teachers, and staff to participate in a series of activities aimed at fostering a healthy lifestyle and mindfulness. The event kicked off with a rejuvenating yoga session led by the school yoga instructor. “The sessions provided a unique opportunity to experience the transformative power of yoga along with techniques to manage stress and enhance overall wellness,” he said.
He also stated that yoga is an incredible tool to embrace holistic wellbeing and attain better health standards for society at large, especially the youth. He added that International Yoga Day celebrations at Achievers Active School Spring are a testament to the fact that the school is committed to nurturing not only academic excellence but also the physical and mental health of students.
Later, the students demonstrated yoga asanas, explained how they are performed and how yoga asanas are beneficial for our life and body. On this occasion, Dr. Elagandula Srinivas, Director of the Association of Alliance Clubs International, who was the chief guest, spoke and explained that yoga can provide mental peace.
In this programme, students explained the importance of yoga through their placards. Directors, Association of Alliance Clubs International, Eeda Kumaraswamy, Kola Anna Reddy, Pulala Shyam, school staff, students and a large number of parents participated and made the programme a success.
