
KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 16, 2025: The 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp organised by 9 Telangana Battalion of NCC at Police Training College, in Karimnagar town, concluded on Tuesday The camp, which started on September 7 and concluded on 16, 2025, saw the participation of 567 enthusiastic NCC cadets from senior and junior divisions, representing 29 schools and eight degree from the integrated Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Adilabad and Sangareddy districts on Tuesday.
The camp aimed to familiarise the young cadets with military life, focusing on drill, firing, physical training, map reading and leadership development. Additionally, the cadets received training in soft skills, essential for success in the modern world.
During the camp, officers from various departments delivered informative and motivational lectures on healthcare, first aid and other relevant topics. Lt Col AK Jayanthi, commanding officer of 9 Telangana NCC Battalion, inspired the cadets with a motivational lecture, highlighting ways to join the armed forces.
Nizamabad NCC Group Commander Col Rajesh Kapur, enlightened the importance of training in the combing annual camp for the overall personality development of cadets. The camp also featured competitions that tested the cadets’ sports skills, physical fitness, planning ability, teamwork and leadership. The camp provided a valuable experience for the cadets, equipping them with skills and knowledge to excel in various fields, he said. PTC principal Pitchaiah, NCC Officers Rella Sanjee, Triveni, Udayasri, Srinivas, Prashantha, former NCC officer B Madhusudhan Reddy, Battalion officials were also present.
