Inspects VQC compartments

TIRUMALA, JULY 28, 2024: With the benign blessings of Lord Venkateswara, I am blessed to assume the charge as Additional EO of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, said new Additional EO of TTD Ch Venkaiah Chowdhary.

After assuming charges as TTD Addl.EO in Tirumala temple on Saturday, he offered prayers in the sanctum sanctorum of Sri Venkateswara Swamy along with his family. Later he was rendered Vedaseervachanam by the Veda Parayanamdars at Ranganayakula Mandapam.

TTD JEO Veerabrahmam offered Theertha Prasadams, Swamivari laminated photo, Agarbattis and Go products to the Additional EO.

Speaking on the occasion, the Additional EO thanked the Honourable CM of AP Sri Chandra Babu Naidu for giving him the opportunity to serve as Additional EO of TTD.

” The Feedback mechanism plays a vital role to enhance the amenities to pilgrims. I prayed Srivaru to give enough strength to safeguard the tradition of the world-renowned temple and serve the devotees with utmost dedication”, he maintained.

Inspects compartment

Later, the Additional EO along with a team of officials concerned, inspected several places in Tirumala on Saturday evening. In his maiden inspection, the Additional EO first visited Narayanagiri Sheds followed by the compartments in Vaikuntham Queue Complex 1 and 2 to understand the various types of darshans being provided to the pilgrims. And also the operation of queue lines including Rs.300, SSD, free darshan, Supadham entry, third line near Tirumala Nambi and other points.

He also personally verified the photo scanning process in the SSD counters and the luggage delivery system. Later in the compartments he inspected the washrooms and instructed the concerned to keep them clean. He also monitored the distribution of milk by Srivari Sevaks to the pilgrims in the compartments of Vaikuntham 1, 2 and also appreciated the services of Srivari Sevaks.

The Additional EO inspected the Vaikuntham dispensary and interacted with the patient undergoing treatment and also inquired about the medication. The patient replied that his ailment was immediately attended to by the duty doctor and the medical services are satisfactory. SE 2 Jagadeeshwar Reddy, Temple DyEO Lokanatham, DyEOs Harindranath, Smt Vijayalakshmi, VGO Nandakishore and other officials were present.
