CONSTRUCTION OF NEW PILGRIM ACCOMMODATION COMPLEX AT KANIPAKAM
TIRUMALA, OCTOBER 28, 2025: To provide Srivari Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam to more number of common devotees, the TTD board has decided to continue to open the sacred Vaikuntham doors for ten days, said TTD Chairman Sri BR Naidu.
Addressing media persons at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday evening after an elaborate board meeting, he briefed them on the important decisions taken under his Chairmanship.

The board has decided to provide the Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam for ten days. However, an experts Committee will be constituted to study the Token Issuing mechanism, keeping in view the previous experiences.
Bhajan Mandirs will be constructed in villages as a part of Hindu Dharma Prachara.
The Board congratulated the TTD employees, district, police administration, other departmental staff, Srivari Sevaks, media persons and above all devotees who participated in the success of the Brahmotsavams.
Brahmotsava Bahumanam for TTD employees:
Decision to give Rs. 15,400 to permanent employees and Rs. 7,535 to contract/outsourced employees. However, it has been decided to give an additional 10 percent to the staff from Tirumala and Tirupati who worked during the Brahmotsavams.
Decision to constitute a committee to examine the room tariffs in Tirumala and submit a report. Further action will be taken based on the report given by the committee.
Decision to constitute an expert committee regarding the management of TTD Gosala. Based on the report given by this committee, further action will be taken.
Approval to construct a new guest house with 100 rooms and modern facilities at the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Vontimitta at a cost of Rs. 37 crores for the convenience of devotees.
Approval to establish a Pavitra Vanam in 1.35 acres at a cost of Rs. 2.96 cr to provide more pleasant and spiritual atmosphere to devotees at the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Vontimitta.
Approval to grant Rs. 25 crores for the construction of a pilgrim accommodation complex and special halls for mass marriages at the Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy Temple in Kanipakam. It was decided to send a request for government approval in this regard.
In order to provide better facilities to the devotees, it has been decided to purchase 6,227 sq. m. of land within the limits of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in T. Nagar, Chennai, with the help of donors for Rs. 14 crores.

In Karimnagar, Telangana State, for the construction of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple with Sri Padmavati and Sri Andal besides Rajagopuram, four mada streets, etc., it has been decided to collect an additional Rs. 10 crores from donors in addition to the already approved funds of Rs. 20 crores.
It has been decided to remove Vedic University VC Acharya Rani Sada Shiva Murthy.
There have been allegations of irregularities in the TTD procurement department. It has been decided to conduct a thorough investigation with the ACB.
TTD Additional EO Sri Venkaiah Chowdary, several board members, JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, and others participated.
