KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 05, 2025: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has urged Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Chairman BR Naidu to take measures for the construction of the TTD temple in Karimnagar town, for which the Karimnagar district administration has allocated 10 acres of land at Padmnagar locality.

In an open letter written to the TTD chairman on Saturday, the Union Minister said that the TTD authorities had performed a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the TTD temple at Padmanagar at a cost of Rs 20 crore on May 31, 2023. Ironically, despite the allocation of required land, the TTD did not take any measures to construct the temple in Karimnagar town, he stated.
Appealing to the TTD to take measures to construct the TTD temple as soon as possible in Karimnagar town, he said that the devotees of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy are eagerly waiting to offer their prayers. He also appreciated the TTD for spreading Dharma across the country, developing Hindu temples, and supporting temples that cannot afford basic offerings like Dhupa, Deepa, and Naivedyam.
