NEW DELHI, JANUARY 27, 2025: Union Home Minister and Minister for Cooperation Amit Shah took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam ghat and sought blessings from the saints at the Maha Kumbh mela in Prayagaj, Uttara Pradesh state on Monday.
The Union Minister along with his wife Sanal Shah and son Jay Shah performed haraati at the Triveni Sangamam. Shah was joined by Baba Ramdev, among other seers, as he took a dip at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj.
On this arrival, Mr Shah was received by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In a message shared on X, Mr Shah spoke of the event describing it as a “unique symbol of the continuous flow of Sanatan culture. Shah further stated, “Kumbh reflects our eternal philosophy of life-based on harmony. Today, I am eager to take a dip in the confluence and seek the blessings of the saints in this great festival of unity and integrity in the holy city of Prayagraj.”
