TIRUPATI, MAY 09, 2025: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will celebrate the 617th birth anniversary of Saint Tallapaka Annamacharya, also known as “Telugu Padakavita Pitamaha,” from May 12 to 18, 2025. The celebrations will be held at Annamacharya’s birthplace in Tallapaka, in Annamayya district, the 108-foot statue in Tirupati, and the Annamacharya Kalamandir in Tirupati.
The Celebrations will begin with the conduct of Srinivasa Kalyanam at Dhyanamandir in Tallapaka at 10.30. The cultural events would be conducted at Dhyanamandir in Tallapaka and the 108 feet Annamayya statue from May 12 to 14, from 6 pm to 8 pm. The literary events would be conducted at Annamacharya Bhavan in Tirupati from May 13 to 17, from 10.30 am to 1 pm. The cultural programme would be conducted from May 12 to 18 at Tirupati in the morning and evenings.
