Maha Kumbh Mela will be conducted from January 13 to February 26, 2025, at Prajagraj (Allahabad), Uttar Pradesh
TIRUPATI, DECEMBER 27, 2024: TTD JEO Gautami has directed the officials concerned to complete the construction works of the TTD model temple for the upcoming Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj (Allahabad) in Uttar Pradesh India at a fast pace.
Addressing a review meeting with the officials in the meeting hall of the TTD Administrative building, the JEO said that in the context of the Mahakumbh Mela to be held in Prayagraj (Allahabad) in Uttar Pradesh from January 13, 2025 to February 26, 2025, as per the decision of the TTD Governing Council, necessary arrangements should be made for the Kainkaryams being held at the TTD replica Temple on the orders of EO J Syamala Rao.
She said that this year’s Mahakumbh Mela is being held in Prayagraj in the context of the Pushkarams being held once every 12 years. The officer also said that in the context of setting up a model Sri Venkateswara temple in such a holy place, TTD is making elaborate arrangements to enhance spirituality. The TTD is providing an opportunity to the devotees who come to Prayagraj to have a darshan of Swamy.
She said that on January 12, the Swamy will be offered Samprokshanam and other programs will be held and said that all services from Suprabhata Seva to Ekantha Seva will be held from January 13 onwards with utmost devotion for the sake of the devotees, especially the North Indian devout.
The JEO instructed the officers concerned to make elaborate arrangements to provide Annaprasadam and also to distribute Laddu Prasadam to the devotees who come for the darshan of Srivaru in the model Temple.
She also reviewed the HDPP, SV College of Music and Dance and Annamacharya Projects activities during the Mela on behalf of TTD.
Among others, she asked to set up posters and flexes in major areas, print books containing the main events including the emergence of Swamy varu in Hindi and English and distribute them widely to broadcast promos through SVBC and TTD social media from now on.
One of the Chief Priests of Tirumala Temple Sri Venugopala Deekshitulu said that the Kainkaryams will be held at the replica temple from January 13th. He urged all devotees to visit the temples and seek His divine blessings. Later he said that Vastu Homas and special puja programs will be held on January 12th for the purification of the place.
