



It is a well-known fact that TTD has been organising free weddings at the Kalyanavedika on Tirumala Papavinasanam Road since 25th April 2016. So far, 26,214 weddings have been held at the Kalyanavedika in Tirumala from 25th April 2016 to 1st May 2025.
As part of this, TTD provides the priest, the marriage musical instruments, turmeric, vermilion, and bangles free of cost during the wedding. The bride and groom will have to bring other wedding accessories. The parents of the bride and groom must be present for the wedding. In case they are unable to attend the wedding, they should submit supporting documents.
After the wedding, a total of 6 people, including the groom, bride and their parents, will be allowed to have free darshan of Srivaru through the queue line at the ATC through a special entry of Rs. 300/-. After the darshan, 6 people will be given 6 laddus (one each) free of cost at the laddu counters.
Online booking facility for the wedding venue
TTD has provided the facility to the newlyweds to book a wedding venue slot online for free weddings in Tirumala from May 9, 2016. For this, they will have to log into the TTD website https://ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in
The details of the boy and girl should be entered in the wedding venue column there.
The bride and groom must not only enter the details of their parents but also upload their Aadhaar cards.
For age verification, a birth certificate or 10th class mark list/transfer certificate or birth certificate from the Panchayat Secretary / Municipal Officers will have to be attached.
Along with this, if they upload the date and time of marriage, an acknowledgement letter will be issued. Newly married couples should take the acknowledgement letter and reach Tirumala just 6 hours before and have their details checked again by the staff at the office at the Kalyana Vedika.
Couples booking online / must be Hindus only to get married for free in Kalyana Vedika at Tirumala.
The bride should be 18 years old and the groom should be 21 years old. Second marriages and love marriages are not performed here.
For marriage registration
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has set up the ”Hindu Marriage Sub-Registrar’s Office” at the Kalyana Vedika for newlyweds getting their marriage registered.
For this, the newly weds should submit their age proof, residence proof, marriage photograph, wedding certificate, wedding hall receipt, along with a certificate from the local MRO stating that they are unmarried, to the officials at the Kalyana Vedika.
