Sri Malayappa Swamy as Yoga Narasimha blessed devotees on Simha Vahanam on the third day of the Navaratri Brahmotsavam underway in Tirumala, on Sunday morning. Simha, the king of animals, is a symbol of majesty, ferociousness and bravery. One of the incarnations of Sri Maha Vishnu, the Narasimha Avatara in half man, half beast form to punish the evil forces, occupies a significant place in Hindu Sanatana Dharma.
Marching ahead the four mada streets Sri Yoga Narasimha seated majestically in a meditative pose representing inner peace and tranquillity. TTD EO J Syamala Rao, Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, JEOs Goutami, Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Sridhar and others were present.
Every year as a part of the promotion of Hindu Sanatana Dharma, TTD releases some religious books during Brahmotsava vahana sevas.

Sri Bhagavatam – Prasnavali penned by Sri Marella Venkata Sesha Reddy, Haindhava Samskruti-Vaignanikata by Dr.Kappagantula Ramakrishna, Tirumala Tirupati Kshetra Mahatmyam (Hindi) by Dr. Puttaparthi Nagapadmini, Sri Madontimita Kodandarama Mahatmyam by Sri Vavilikolanu Subbarao.
