BERLIN (GERMANY) OCTOBER 06, 2024: The Telangana Association of Germany organized its 11th Bathukamma event in Berlin at Sri Ganesh Temple on Sunday.
On this occasion, Dr Mandeep Singh Tuli, Minister (Personnel) from the Embassy of India, Berlin, and his family graced the celebration. Dr Tuli carried the Bathukamma on his head as a mark of respect for the tradition.
Telangana Association President Dr Raghu Chaliganti conveyed his vote of thanks to the volunteers for their hard work, particularly the cooking team, cleaning, and decoration team, who prepared delicious Telangana food.
On this occasion, Ram Boinapally, Sharath Reddy Kamdi, Natesh Chetty Goud Yoganand Nampally, Balraj Ande, Srinath Ramani, Amulya Pothumanchi, Avinash Raju Pothumanchi, Swecha Reddy Bireddy and Venugopal Reedy Bireddy from the TAG working committee were also present. A special thanks was extended to Prashanth Goli for performing the Puja and Nida for taking photos during the event.
Earlier, the womenfolk had colourfully decorated the Bathukamma in a conical shape by stacking different varieties of flowers. They participated in the celebrations by playing around the Bathukamma by offering prayers to Goddess Gauri.
