JAGTIAL, FEBRUARY 01, 2025: Telangana state Director-General of Police Jitender offered prayers at the ancient and historic Sri Anjaneya Swamy devasthanam in Kondagattu of Mallial Mandal in Jagtial district on Saturday.
The DGP along with his family members arrived at the temple shrine. The temple priests accorded a traditional welcome to the DGP couple amid chanting of Vedic hymns. The DGP offered special prayers to the presiding deity Lord Hanuman. The temple authorities led by EO D Krishna Prasad, superintendent U Chandrashekhar and priests presented ‘sesha vastram’, laddu prasadam and the portrait of the shrine to the DGP.
Earlier, the Jagtial district police had given a guard of honour to DGP on his arrival at the temple shrine. Jagtial SP Ashok Kumar, DSP Raghachander, RI Kiran Kumar, Mallial CI Ravi, SI Satish, Ravi Kumar and others were also present.
