AMARAVATHI, MARCH 08, 2025: The celestial Srinivasa Kalyanam will be conducted at the Srivari temple at Venkata Palem in Amaravathi on March 15.
It may be mentioned here that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu had allocated 25 acres of land for the construction of Srivari temple in the year 2018 and laid foundation stone in 2019 and the temple was opened in 2022.
TTD Executive Officer J Syamala Rao said that to spread Srivari glory, TTD has made large-scale arrangements, as the devotees of Amaravati have requested that the Srivari Kalyanam be organized. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will attend the divine wedding ceremony on March 15.
Around 25,000 people are expected to attend this event. Arrangements are being made, including drinking water, buttermilk, and Annaprasadam, which will be distributed to all the devotees. The LED screens are also being set up while Srivari Dharma Rathams will give wide publicity.
The EO said that devotional music, spiritual and cultural programmes will be organized under the auspices of TTD Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad, and the program will be telecast live on SVBC channel for the sake of global devotees.
In this program CRDA Commissioner Mr. Kannababu, Endowments Secretary Vinay Chand, District Collector Nagalakshmi, Commissioner in-charge AP Endowments Ramachandra Mohan, TTD JEO Veerabrahmam, Joint Collector Bhargvatheja, SP Satish Kumar, CE Satyanarayana and other officials were present. Later, the TTD EO inspected the ongoing arrangements in the temple premises for Srinivasa Kalyanam and gave several suggestions to the officials.
The TTD EO also flagged off the Srivari Dharma Rathams to conduct a wide campaign in the respective villages regarding the celestial Srinivasa Kalyanam to be held on the evening of March 15 at Venkata Palem in Amaravati.
Srivari Dharma Rathams were started after a review with the district officials in Venkata Palem on Friday. He advised the officials to carry out an extensive campaign through Dharma Rathms in the surrounding areas of Amaravati.
