TIRUPATI, AUGUST 10, 2026: The three-day Pavitrotsavams at Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple, Tirupati, concluded in a grand and spiritually uplifting manner on Monday evening with Purnahuti.
On the final day, the Lord was ceremonially awakened with Suprabhata Seva, followed by Thomala Seva and Sahasranamarchana. From 9 am to 11 am, Vedic rituals were performed as per Agama traditions in the Yagashala.
From 11 am to noon, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the processional deities with sacred offerings including milk, curd, honey, turmeric, sandalwood and coconut water.
In the evening, the processional deities were taken in a grand Tiruveedhi Utsavam from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm. This was followed by Iyal Sathumurai at Bhashyakarla Gudi. Later, Vedic rituals and the Purnahuti were performed in the Yagashala.
After Purnahuti, the processional deities and the main sacred Kumbham were taken to the sanctum through Vimana Pradakshina. Kumbhavahanam and other rituals were then performed as prescribed in the Agamas.
Temple Deputy EO Smt. B.Nagaratna, Chief Priest Sri Ananda Kumar Dikshithulu, Superintendent Sri K. Srinivasulu Reddy, Temple Inspectors Sri Suresh and Sri Harikrishna, priests, officials, staff and a large number of devotees participated in the sacred celebrations.
