TIRUPATI, MARCH 02, 2024: The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kapileswara Swamy in Tirupati began on a grand religious note on Friday with the hoisting of Nandi Dhwajapatam on the temple pillar.
The event was carried out at the auspicious Meena Lagnam at 7.40 am in the presence of Panchamurthies, Sri Somaskandhamurthy, Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru, Sri Vinayaka Swami, Sri Chandikeswaraswamy, Sri Valli, Devasena sahita Sri Subramanya Swamy.
The programme was scientifically conducted under the guidance of Kankanabhattar Sri Manivasan Gurukul. Temple DyEO Devendra Babu, AEO Subba Raju, Superintendent Bhupati, Inspectors Ravikumar and Balakrishna and others were present.
Rides on Swan carrier
On the first day of Sri Kapileswara Swamy Brahmotsavam in Tirupati, Sri Kapileswara Swamy offered blessings to the devotees in the streets on the Swan carrier from 7 to 9 pm on Friday.
Impressive music and dance performances
The music and dance programs organized by Sri Venkateswara College of Music and DanceCollege and Sri Venkateswara Nadaswara and Dolu School on the first day of the annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Kapileswara Swamy on Friday night were impressive.
As a part of this, Nadaswara and Dolu concert was performed on the stage set up in the temple premises. In this, Kesanna, Venkanna on Nadaswaram, Nagaraju and Sri Chandrasekhar on the drums performed with amazing rhythm. Similarly, vocal lecturer Dr. Vandana with her disciple group performed a vocal concert. College Principal Dr. Uma Muddubala and others participated.
