

KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 17, 2025: On the eve of Good Friday, the students of Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, celebrated the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ, a key event in Christian faith that is followed by the celebration of Easter Sunday, which marks his resurrection and triumph over death.

At a special programme was organised to mark the occasion on Thursday, the students sang soulful hymns and enacted a skit depicting events like the birth of Jesus, his teachings, miracles and sacrifice for humans.
The Chairman of the school, Dr Sudhakar Rao Polsani, correspondent, Rotarian Harihara Prasad, conveyed Easter greetings to the students. The Principal of the school, Dr T. Lalitha Kumari, emphasised the importance of celebrations which teach us the values of compassion, forgiveness and love. The celebration provided an opportunity for the students to learn about the significance of Good Friday and Easter.
