
More than 100 companies to participate in employing over 3,000 youth
KARIMNAGAR, MAY 15, 2025: The Singareni Collieries Company Limited has decided to conduct a mega job mela to employ over 3,000 local coal-belt youth by involving more than 100 companies in the Godavarikhani coal belt on May 18 (Sunday).

In a statement here on Thursday, SCCL chairman and managing director N Balaram said that they had involved over 100 companies of Hyderabad to employ the youth of the coal belt region and the children of the coal miners in Hyderabad companies. Instead of going and seeking employment in Hyderabad, the Singareni had arranged the job mela by inviting the companies to their doorstep to employ the local youth, he stated.
The Singareni chairman said that they would conduct similar job melas in other coal belt areas also. Stating that the Singareni was striving to provide employment in the Singareni as well as helping the local youth to secure employment in other organisations, he appealed to the youth to utilise the opportunity.
He also said that the SCCL had set up skill development centres in Mandamarri, Ramagundam-1 and Bhupalapalli areas to train the youth to secure employment. Mr Balaram said that they would soon open more skill development centres in more coal belt areas to help the youth secure employment in their chosen career.
