NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 12, 2024: The Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with MyGov, proudly announces an exhilarating online quiz series as part of the Republic Day Celebrations 2025. This initiative aims to ignite patriotic feelings among the youth and masses through a deep dive into three compelling themes:
The Ministry of Defence is organizing a series of quiz competitions on the MyGov platform as part of the Republic Day Celebrations 2025. The details of the ongoing quiz competition live from 10th December to 13th December 2024 is provided below.
- War Heroes of India
- 75 Years of Indian Constitution
- Cultural Heritage and Traditions of India
Salient features:
- Each of the quiz will be in bilingual format i.e. in Hindi and English.
- Duration of each of the quiz will be 5 minutes (300 seconds), during which a maximum of 20 questions can be answered.
- Winners of the contest will be announced on the basis of combined performance in all the above quizzes. However, participants will be allowed in all the above quizzes without round-wise elimination.
- There will be ten cash prizes for the winners of the contest selected on the basis of combined performance in all the above quizzes as under :
(a) 1st Prize – Rs.25,000/-
(b) 2nd Prize – Rs.15,000/-
(c) 3rd Prize – Rs.10,000/-
(d) Consolation Prizes (Seven) – Rs. 5,000/- each
- Top 250 participants along with one companion (spouse/ guardian/ relative, etc ) would be issued invitation cards by Ministry of Defence to witness Republic Day Parade, 2025 at Kartavyapath, New Delhi.
- All participants to the Quiz will get an online generated certificate of participation by MyGov.in.
The Educational institutions are requested to promote these competitions among school children/NCC Cadets/NSS Volunteers/Sainik School Students/General Public (as per your respective fields) to ensure maximum participation.
