NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 05, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a holy dip at Triveni Sangam at Maha Kumbh mela venue in Prayagraj of Uttar Pradesh state on Wednesday.
Mr Modi dressed in an orange jersey and blue lowers, Mr Modi took a holy dip in the holy waters of Triveni Sangam amid chanting of Vedic hymns by the priests. He was accompanied by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and others. Mr Modi also offered prayers and harathi to goddess Ganga.

In separate posts on X, he wrote:
“Blessed to be at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. The Snan at the Sangam is a moment of divine connection, and like the crores of others who have taken part in it, I was also filled with a spirit of devotion. May Maa Ganga bless all with peace, wisdom, good health and harmony.”
