KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 06, 2024: Students of Zilla Parishad High School, Mamidalapalli, Veenavanka mandal, Karimnagar district, have written poems on Lord Rama after the inauguration of his temple in Ayodhya.

Under the auspices of Rudrama Sahiti Sravathi, Dr Aduvala Sujatha had edited the book titled ‘Antha Rama Mayam’ a compilation of poems written by the students of the ZPHS Mamidalapalli. Peddapalli district Additional Collector GV Shyam Prasad Lal had formally released the book on Saturday at a function in Film bhavan in Karimnagar town.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Shyam Prasad Lal lauded the creativity and enthusiasm of the students to write poetry on Ram Lala after the inauguration of his temple in Ayodhya. He also appreciated the writer Adula Sujatha for encouraging the young writers into the field of literature and encouraging them to write about the happenings of the current situation of society.
Kendra Sahitya Academy award winner and National Book Trust editor Dr Pathipaka Mohan said that the child writers had so far published 640 publications in the Telangana state and the ‘Antha Ramamayam’ would come into its fold. He opined that the students if encouraged to read more books their creativity and literary skills would be unfolded. He stressed the need to open libraries in schools and temples too.
Sthabamkadi Gangadhar reviewed the book. Sahithi Gauthami president Nandi Srinivas, national sahitya parishad president Gajula Ravinder, eminent litterateur Gandra Laxman Rao, GDC women Jagtial principal K Ramakrishna, Veenavanka MEO Suddala Shoba Rani, Bhavani, Sahitya Vedika president Vairagyam Prabhakar, Udaya Sahithi president Yerram Raji Reddy, Rudrama Sahiti member Bommakanti Kishan, Ananthoju Padmasri, Chindma Sunitha, Penugonda Sarasija, Macha Haridasu, Gundu Ramanaia, Neelagiri Anitha, K Venkateshwarlu, Ch Sanjeevaiah, and others were also present.
