The seven-hooded serpent king, believed to be Adisesh, carried the Goddess along mada streets to bless devotees who cherished the vahanam amidst rain. The artistes of various forms also performed, braving incessant rains. The Telangana’s Bathukamma also figured during the cultural programmes.
Both the Pontiffs of Tirumala, EO AK Singhal, JEO Veerabrahmam, CVSO Muralikrishna, DyEO Harindranath and others were present.
